Mr. Kip Price of West Virginia has been a pivotal figure in bringing the story of Private Curtis Adams and the Wereth 11 to Anderson, South Carolina. His support, extensive knowledge, guidance, and generous donations have been invaluable to Honor for Heroes and our mission to shine the light of truth and honor on the Wereth 11. In recognition of his dedication to preserving and promoting this important history, Kip was awarded the History Hero Award in 2022. We are proud to call him a friend!
Tessa Hilley

Tessa is the wife of Honor for Heroes founder Matthew Hilley. She has played an essential role in the organization’s success through countless hours of support behind the scenes. While much of the public recognition goes to the visible work of the organization, Tessa has quietly helped in many ways, offering guidance, encouragement, and steady dedication to the mission of honoring our nation’s heroes. She is also the Co-Director of Area 14 South Carolina Special Olympics.
